Day 2: Mikumi to Iringa – Visit Ismila Stone Age Site, overnight at a hotel.

Day 3: Iringa to Ruaha National Park – Afternoon game viewing, overnight at camp/lodge.

Day 4: Full-day game viewing in Ruaha National Park, overnight at camp/lodge.

We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Dar es Salaam and embark on a thrilling journey to Mikumi National Park. Throughout the day, you’ll enjoy game viewing in the park, where you may spot a variety of wildlife such as lions, elands, hartebeests, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and elephants. Keep an eye out for the impressive packs of wild dogs. Tonight, we’ll stay at Camp Bastian or a similar lodge for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Mikumi to Iringa

Witness the stunning sunrise as we begin our morning game drive, returning to the lodge for a delicious breakfast. Afterward, we’ll drive to Iringa Town, making a stop at Ismila Stone Age Site. This site boasts a rich collection of Stone Age tools and features picturesque sandstone pillars carved by an ancient river. You’ll be captivated by the scenery. Later, we’ll have dinner and spend the night at a hotel.

Iringa to Ruaha

Following breakfast, we’ll journey to Ruaha National Park. Upon arrival, we’ll have lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Ruaha is renowned for its unspoiled, natural beauty, making it one of Africa’s largest and most captivating parks. Prepare to be enchanted by the wildlife encounters. Our camp or lodge will be our home for dinner and overnight.

Full Day Safari in Ruaha

Enjoy a fulfilling morning with breakfast, setting off for a full day of game viewing in Ruaha National Park. Witness the wonders of the Great Ruaha River, where hippo and crocodile thrive. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of lion, leopard, hunting dog, and an array of other species like waterbuck, impala, giraffe, warthog, eland, zebra, and elephants. On the plains, you may spot Grant’s gazelle, ostrich, and cheetah. We’ll return to the camp or lodge for all our meals.

Ruaha to Udzungwa

As the sun rises, embark on another game drive in Ruaha before breakfast. Afterward, we’ll drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park with packed lunch. This park is a hidden gem with lush landscapes and diverse wildlife. We’ll enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at a camp or lodge.

Udzungwa Trekking & Return to Dar

After breakfast, embark on a scenic trek leading to the spectacular Sanje Waterfalls. From this vantage point, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Kilombero Valley from a height of 180 meters. After the trek, we’ll return for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll drive back to Dar es Salaam, concluding this unforgettable safari experience.
