- Distance: Approximately 316 kilometers
- Travel Time: Around 6-7 hours by road
- Route: The most common route is to travel northwest from Dar es Salaam on the A7 highway towards Tanga. From Tanga, continue north on the A14 highway towards Muheza. Magoroto Forest Estate is located near Muheza, off the A14 highway. You can reach the estate by private vehicle or public transportation.
Magoroto From Moshi:
- Distance: Approximately 150 kilometers
- Travel Time: Around 3-4 hours by road
- Route: Head northeast from Moshi on the B1 highway towards Tanga. Pass through towns like Segera and Korogwe before reaching Muheza. From Muheza, follow signs to Magoroto Forest Estate, which is located off the main road.
Magoroto From Arusha:
- Distance: Approximately 250 kilometers
- Travel Time: Around 4-5 hours by road
- Route: Travel east from Arusha on the A23 highway towards Moshi. From Moshi, follow the directions mentioned above to reach Magoroto Forest Estate via the B1 highway towards Tanga.
